Former legal-affairs reporter for the Chicago Tribune, Strobel turned from atheism to faith after investigating the evidence for Jesus. His 1998 book The Case for Christ launched a bestselling series—over 14 million copies sold across 40+ titles. He has served as a teaching pastor, hosted Faith Under Fire, and taught apologetics at multiple universities. Married to Leslie since 1973, he lives in Southern California.
