Father Viktor Meshko, born in Ukraine in 1973, lives with his family in Germany. He is a priest of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, married, father of four children and grandfather. With a doctorate in theology and psychology, he combines spiritual depth with human warmth – in pastoral care, in his counselling practice and in social work.

Die Griechisch-Orthodoxe Metropolitankathedrale Heilige Dreifaltigkeit (Agia Trias) in Bonn ist der Sitz der Griechisch-Orthodoxen Metropolie von Deutschland (GOMD), die dem Ökumenischen Patriarchat von Konstantinopel unterstellt ist. Die Metropolie von Deutschland wurde 1963 als eigenständige Kirchenprovinz errichtet und betreut heute griechisch-orthodoxe Gemeinden in ganz Deutschland. Als frühere Bundeshauptstadt besaß Bonn besondere diplomatische Bedeutung; die Kathedrale ist das geistliche Zentrum der GOMD und Sitz des regierenden Metropoliten.

The Serbian Orthodox Church of the Ascension of the Lord (Hram Vaznesenja Gospodnjeg) serves the Serbian Orthodox community of the Aachen region. Under the spiritual care of Father Dragan Jovanović, the parish belongs to the Serbian Orthodox Church and gathers its faithful at the church on Tanneweg in Würselen, just north of Aachen.

The Greek Orthodox parish of the Ascension of the Lord (Christi Himmelfahrt) in Berlin belongs to the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Germany (Ecumenical Patriarchate). Based in Berlin-Steglitz, it is the central Greek Orthodox parish of the German capital and serves the Greek-speaking Orthodox faithful of the city. The feast of the Ascension, celebrated forty days after Pascha, commemorates Christ's ascension into heaven.

Die Gemeinde des Heiligen Propheten Elias betreut die griechisch-orthodoxen Gläubigen im Stadtteil Bockenheim und ist eine der beiden GOMD-Pfarreien in Frankfurt.

The Romanian Orthodox parish 'Holy Trinity' (Sfânta Treime) in Aachen celebrates the Divine Liturgy in the Theresienkirche, a baroque former Carmelite church on Pontstraße built between 1739 and 1745. The parish serves the Romanian Orthodox faithful of Aachen and the surrounding region under the spiritual care of Father Alexandru Pop.

Die Ukrainisch-Orthodoxe Gemeinde der Allerheiligsten Dreifaltigkeit in Stuttgart betreut die ukrainisch-orthodoxen Gläubigen in der Landeshauptstadt Baden-Württembergs und der umliegenden Region. Die Gemeinde bietet ukrainischen Christen und weiteren orthodoxen Gläubigen aus Osteuropa eine geistliche Heimat in Stuttgart; Gottesdienste werden in kirchenslawischer und ukrainischer Sprache gefeiert. Sie ist Ausdruck der lebendigen ukrainischen Diaspora, die sich im Laufe der Jahrzehnte in der Stuttgarter Region niedergelassen hat.
